Word is out that Google is adding another branch to their services. They are going to provide free email. That's right! Email! With Gmail (Google's email) you will never have to delete another email message again with their 1000MBs (1 full Gig) of memory! Gmail is in the testing phase at the moment but will be widely available to the public soon! See more at: gmail.google.com
(as you can see now-- this post is really old and they have upped the memory to over 2 gigs and counting-- and it is sort of out of the beta stage)
Google is getting Email!

Disclaimer: Blonde is a state of mind that some people get sometimes.
I knew a blonde that was so stupid that...*
*she called me to get my phone number.
*she came to my house to find out where I lived.
*she spent 20 minutes looking at the orange juice box because it said "concentrate."
*she put lipstick on her forehead because she wanted to make up her mind.
*she tried to put M&M's in alphabetical order.
*she sent me a fax with a stamp on it.
*she tried to drown a fish.
*she thought a quarterback was a refund.
*she got locked in a grocery store and starved to death.
*she tripped over a cordless phone.
*she took a ruler to bed to see how long she slept.
*she asked for a price check at the Dollar Store.
*she studied for a blood test.
*she thought Meow Mix was a CD for cats.
*when she heard that 90% of all crimes occur around the home, she moved.
*she thought Ford meant "flip off rude drivers."
*when she missed the 44 bus, she took the 22 bus twice instead.
*when she took you to the airport and saw a sign that said "Airport Left" she turned around and went home.
*when she saw "Bill Changer" she thought it was a place for her husband to get new clothes.
*she went to Wal Mart to buy a new house.
*she tried to buy gum with play money.
*she went to the (auto) body shop to get plastic surgery.
*she went to the tanning bed with sunblock on.
*she ran off the road when she saw a Dodge truck behind her.
A Very Helpful Driving Tip!
When driving through fog or snow at night, use only the dim setting on your car lights. When you use the bright setting the light reflects off of the moisture in the air making it harder to see. It might also help to turn on the dome light behind you. This helps take away some of the glare also. Try it, it really works!
The Cure for Cancer?
Has anyone ever thought about the cure for cancer that isn't a scientist? You see, I don't think it is that hard. Radiation is the main cause of it, yet they say everything causes cancer. My question is: Are the tests giving true results? How do we know there wasn't a computer emitting alpha particles into their experiments? We don't.
Each year more and more people are diagnosed with cancer. Cancer is an abnormal reproduction of cells that spread and cause distortions. Wouldn't it be neat if the cure could be found tonight. The cure seems pretty simple, so why can't anyone perfect it yet? If you understand basic chemistry and the emitting of particles, that could be all you need to find the cure. What we need to do is find something that can change transmutations back to their normal state. Of course there would have to be 3 or more different cures because of alpha beta and gamma rays.
Is it possible that there is something more that is not discovered? Is there something beyond the Periodic Table of Elements? The truth is, we will never know until/if someone discovers something more.
There are many different kinds of elements our bodies are made up of, (C, H, O, P, K, I, N, S, Ca, Fe, Na, Cl, Mg, Mn). I think all we need to do is find a way to figure out which element(s) are the ones that cause spontaneous transmutations, figure out how to change them back, and have the cure. Works, doesn't it?

Bury Power Lines
In response to Edward Prows (Readers' Forum, Jan. 7) in the Deseret Morning News, I have a solution for his trees and power line problem.
There is no need for a change in the design of power poles. An "elbow" would make more problems than a straight one. One of the reasons Utah Power would never incorporate an elbow into power poles is because it would make them unstable. Also, can you imagine a street lined with bent or twisted poles? That would be an ugly sight.
Instead of changing every power pole, have the lines around the house buried. An even better solution would be to not plant trees under power lines in the first place.

Know More About Hydrogen
The use of hydrogen gas has recently been brought to the public's attention. Government officials have decided to increase funding for the study and development of hydrogen gas.
Hydrogen fuel would be better for our environment. The exhaust is harmless because it is basically water. This brings on a radical new meaning to the general well-being of the Earth's atmosphere. Hydrogen is the most plentiful element in the universe. It is also simple to extract from water.
A difficulty with using hydrogen as a fuel is that it must be handled with great caution. Therefore, when injected into the fuel tank of a vehicle, it must be inserted with a robotic arm. Even then, a person should stay as far away as possible because of the hazards.
I am convinced it would benefit our world as a whole, but more people need to be educated to the full extent before the hydrogen vehicle industry revolutionizes our way of life.

Keep hot waste out
Whatever happened to the alternatives regarding the disposal of nuclear waste in Utah? We don't want any of the nuclear waste to end up here. If we let this deadly material into our state, it's like saying, "Kill me and everyone who is in or even comes near Utah."
If Washington, D.C., were a part of Utah, President Bush would be totally against it. He would probably do everything in his power to stop it from happening. What did Utah do to deserve this punishment?
Why not send the radioactive material to Antarctica? Better yet, why not send it into space? I'm not saying that space is a better place for it, but we need to do everything we can to keep this "garbage" out of Utah. We already have poor air quality in Utah and we don't want more, so please help keep it out!
